Vriddhamitra, a not-for-profit initiative under SCHOOL, provides essential elderly care across Pune, Mumbai, Bhopal, Gwalior, and Varanasi, supported by the Azim Premji Foundation and WHO. Managing data for 23,000+ (now 55,000+) beneficiaries manually became a challenge.
The organisation approached WTF! Studios to design & develop a system to streamline data management and automate workflows. The VriddhaMitra Apps and Dashboard brought in real-time monitoring, data accuracy, and caregiver accessibility, demonstrating how technology, compassion, and innovation can drive meaningful social impact.
Overwhelming Data Management:
70+ Community Officers manually tracked 18 parameters per elderly across 9 registers, updating 29,000+ data points monthly, leading to delays & inconsistencies.Slow Reporting & Decision-Making: Manual transcription into Excel took 9–12 days, delaying reports to donors and stakeholders.
Historical Data Integration: Seven years of records needed to be structured for digital use.
